Another smoothie bowl for the win! Except this one is like eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, just with out the bread...and it's cold...and the texture is totally different...but essentially it's the same thing only a healthier smoothie version of it! ;)

 

Recipe

smoothie base:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 2-3 frozen bananas
  • nut milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 dates

toppings:

  • Bananas
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • Coconut flakes
  • Peanut butter drizzle

 

 

 

Directions

1. Add all smoothie ingredients to a high speed blender. Try to use as little nut milk as possible (you can always add more). Blend until creamy and smooth like ice cream. This will take a little patience, you will have to stop the blender several times and mix it up with a spatula.

2. Once you have gotten your ice cream-like consistency, its all ready! Just add all of your toppings. You can always switch it up and use whatever toppings you'd like. I drizzled the peanut butter on first before anything else and then used a spoon to swirl it in, creating a super jazzy swirl effect!
