I love starting the day out with a nutrient dense smoothie bowl! This one contains all sorts of healthy ingredients that will nourish your body and give you the natural energy you need to start your day off right. I want to give a shout out to "Purely Elizabeth" for the amazing granola I used as a topping. I especially love this granola not only because it's pumpkin cinnamon flavored (because I'm basic AF and love anything pumpkin!) but also because its made with all natural, whole organic ingredients and doesn't contain any processed sugar like many other granola's on the market. You guys should definitely give it a try! 

 

Recipe

smoothie base:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp spirulina
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • splash of nut milk

toppings:

  • Purely Elizabeth's Pumpkin Cinnamon Ancient Grain Granola
  • Bananas
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Cacao Nibs
  • Goji Berries
  • Orange Zest
  • Cinnamon

 

Directions

1. Blend all of the ingredients for the smoothie base in a high speed blender. I start out with only a little bit of nut milk and add more if needed. The key is to get it thick and creamy, so be sure not to add too much liquid.

2. Once everything is nice and smooth, transfer to a bowl and top with toppings. Eat up!
